You should probably start a basic challenge chain a couple of rebirths to get to 58 and get a boost to adventure mode stats.

After that the preferred strategy is the Nerd rush, where you should be mostly just ITOPOD grinding until you can kill the next Titan, he is guaranteed to drop at least 1 piece of better equipment than your Choco gear.

Its slow but its faster than farming the first 2 zones in Evil.

Alright, I'll see if I can do that, though I am mostly gaining around 4-5 levels per rebirth as it is, and I bet that's gonna slow down soon as well. Cheers!

The person who arrives last is fined, regardless of whether that person's late or not.
Two small feature requests for Endless Battle:

1) In the Quest Summary screen, you can see the total bonuses you've earned from completing quests. It seems to be that the same bonuses on different layer tiers stack multiplicatively (if I'm wrong here, correct me!) and I think it would be convenient if we could easily tell which bonuses came from which layer tier. One way would be to separate each tier into it's own page, so you're always taken right to the page with the relevant layer's bonuses, or possibly just making it one big page with each layer having a separate section, with the currently selected layer highlighted.

2) More automation please :v: right now, all the various Creation upgrade currencies make it somewhat tedious to go through and buy upgrades, and since I'm just trying to buy the cheapest ones as I can afford them, I wouldn't mind throwing an auto-buy option into that screen. The only currency on that screen you might not want to spend immediately are the regular power gems, but even then you don't need more than 100-150k at a time. This probably wouldn't be the optimal way to upgrade everything, since not all the upgrades are equally valuable, but with all the currencies spread among all the layers it would save a fair bit time trying to eyeball currency costs.

I'll hold off on requesting auto-upgrading magic spells since those have significant difference in power and you most definitely want to actually put thought into those :v:

its a bit fuzzy at that point because collapse is like layer 3 of the incremental and the meta and generation really starts to ramp up in the middle of layer 3

also you're really kind of hard locked to certain paths of progression, and like while you can totally get darkness before doing SM20...it's really a mistake to do that since SM20 helps a ton generating darkness and getting upgrades

These idle game Discord servers with 500 channels are poo poo, who knew. Even kongregate chat is much better for simple beginner questions.
For the sluggish milestones, you pretty much just need to get one or two more aleph upgrades than you had for the last one and then simply go up to the max amount of boosts you're allowed for the milestone and do as many challenges as possible there.
I think they're pretty well balanced but then again I'm still amazed how the booster upgrades and challenges work together. I think the longest SM took me like 6 hours?

Quests from different layers that benefit the same resource do stack multiplicatively.

I recently uploaded a new build (125) that adds some extra information to the quest summary menu. The Steam and Android versions should be out. The iOS is in review.

My hang up with automation is that, even though I made the game, I don't really know how to play it optimally. Regular upgrades are easy because there's no decision to be made (just buy all of them right away), but for things like spending prestige resources versus hanging on to them to receive a boost, or buying one creation upgrade versus buying a different upgrade, that's really complex and I don't think I'm capable of building something that makes good decisions.

Oh yeah, I'm making this request having no idea how to play optimally either. It'd be really hard and complicated to find that I think! My specific request was just to automate my own very simplistic method of choosing upgrades, which honestly is pretty selfish of me :v:

Thank you very much for the update, the layer building material mechanic of the game is interesting.

I think I mentioned it before but you really don't want to go into Evil without the golden beard because due to the massive decrease in time machine leveling speed it's going to be your main source of GPS increases for a bit, and being able to make use of your Gold Diggers is going to help a lot. Maybe do a few rebirths to get some permanent levels built up first.

eta: When I hit Evil I was looking at like 2 or 3 hours, with all my magic dumped into time machine, for a single level.

I will definitely do that before Evil, I'm sitting at 5/7 on Troll Challenges right now and the last one I started running out of steam right as I was getting to the target so I'm going to push a bit more to the end of normal before doing another round of challenges.

That's only until you can trigger Prism Rune blessing, which is at 1000 combined levels between talismans and actual levels. As soon as you can trigger that, you go 1/3/5 and ride ants to glory, only swapping to 1/2/4 for pushing your particles and challenge completions periodically.

Your biggest roadblock will be green talisman fragments, because your first C10 clear really demands three red talismans.

OM has a lot of potential factors that can gently caress you over. This includes giving advice if someone misremembers how high something should be for it to be good enough.

The biggest ones for preparing before going for a SM are:

- aleph upgrades, which in turn require
- aleph power (0-1-2, and if you've got aleph upgrade (AU) 7, aleph omega as well)
- whether you're skipping any previous SMs (SM20 in particular is notably impactful)

And within a run:

- challenge completions of course, with the SM objective limiting which ones are even possible
- challenge 8 decrementy / dark manifold farming
- incrementy / manifold farming (can be done during the final push to BHO; will have some pronounced breakpoints of really speeding up progress)
- booster upgrades used during the final push to BHO (1/2/3 as usual, until your SM target is so low you can't get that)

When in doubt, push to the next aleph upgrade (or however many past that, if they don't seem too far off) and get enough of a stock of aleph power that the multipliers visibly start moving again when you assign it out.
