Nah Norton is well-liked, there's no stories about him that imply he's some secret monster. Fun fact: most of BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY was shot by the AD because Singer wouldn't show up to set. Always with no warning too, so you're in a situation where every day you show up to work not knowing if the guy who's supposed to be running things is going to turn up or not. On any set that's pretty irresponsible, let alone a major production. This was why he and Malek didn't get along (because Malek and the rest of the cast did all this prep and Singer clearly didn't give a poo poo) and even when he did show up it would be to oversee some shots and then let someone else do the whole directing thing. Even after he was officially off the project I was told that he 'unofficially' was overseeing the editing. I heard pretty similar things from DOFP and was told he kept getting work because he would turn projects in on time and under budget so studios loved him (I thought that would've ended with that Jack and the Beanstalk movie, remember that disaster?). There's obviously the more nefarious rumours that he has a lot of dirt on people but best I can tell that's just conjecture, though it would make sense. But watching Graham Norton on YouTube makes me happy that he gets to do his thing, at least. He's the best at what he does, and I'm not sure I'd want to upset that apple cart. If you haven't watched the Graham Norton episode with Bill Murray, Matt Damon, and Hugh Bonneville where they're advertising Monuments Men, you owe it to yourself. It's an hour of pure joy.

It can both be true that Ellen was unfairly pushed out of Hollywood by homophobes for coming out and that her status as a victim didn’t make her empathetic to others when she got power of her own. Being a victim doesn’t magically make you a good person.

I bet a lot of former employees had to sign NDAs, and/or don't want to be seen as vindictive or difficult to work with. Other shows are probably less likely to hire you if they think you'll poo poo talk them the moment you leave.

D'Elia really seems like a guy who had a two-part plan that was basically "Step 1: Get famous, Step 2: Use clout to coerce underage girls into sex". Sadly there's a ton of guys just like him out there working hard to get famous just to have a harem of fans to gently caress, underage or otherwise. Of age is still slimy but underage is downright monstrous.

Its a power control thing, I think at some point these people just feel entitled to satisfy their desires and expected their fame to be a shield for them. The stuff that came out for the SSB community was downright revolting basically almost every top 10 player was outed as harassing and soliciting underage female fans for nudes and a major female player was raping a 14 year old male when she was 24 and carried on telling him to promise to keep it secret until he turned 18.

Craig Ferguson is happy as poo poo these days, and I see no scenario where he'd have any reason to come back, barring just a ton of money. He ran that show in a truly wonderful, bizarre way, we were blessed to have it for as long as we did, but it's done now, he's moved on, and now he does basically whatever he wants. (Recently a Netflix special.) I have no idea who I'd want to replace the comedy vacuum that is Corden. The funniest person I can think of on TV right now is Amber Ruffin, but she's wrapped up in the NBC family of shows (and is getting her own Peacock show, god help her). But it's not going to be Ferguson.
