My sister in law cooked me a hybrid version of szechuan mapo tofu and it was amazing and I can't find it anywhere. So I just want to make it myself.

Manhattan has a ton of sichuan places esp the last few yrs. The only thing I miss about it really, eating rich and silky mapo tofu or bean and beef with noodles
