Gatts posted:If I recall Joelene Blalock was also disappointed on Ent. She was a huge fan, did a great job as a Vulcan but I think things didn’t turn out the way she hoped at least at the start. By all accounts that was incredibly lovely. She's a big Star Trek fan and for the first two seasons at least her character was basically "hey, boobs". When they did start giving her more to do she got psychically raped and developed the brain equivalent of an STD from it which made her a pariah in Vulcan society. Because if there's one thing you can count on Enterprise for, it's a thoughtful and respectful take on sexual assault and the associated trauma and taboo

The first decontamination scene in the pilot is absolutely hilarious. Just completely unapologetically pornographic.

Complete with a little peephole for Dr. Phlox to keep an eye on the proceedings, like old Times Square in space. Insert another quatloo for three more minutes But the decon chamber also gave us the scene where they had to gel up Porthos, which was funny as all hell because they played it straight

That being said, replicant O'Brien turned out to be an excellent candidate since he managed to singlehandedly take on an entire space station and would have succeeded with his assassination attempt if Starfleet hadn't been tipped off. that was the alien that murdered the replicant though, it wasn't one of the starfleet people

Jose Oquendo posted:I don't remember that. I just remember the hype being about 'conflict on the bridge' and that everyone didn't get along. That last all of 1 episode after the pilot. I'm sure its been said a million times already in this thread, but Voyager really was a spectacular miss on what should have been a really great premise. Both in terms of the conflict between the two crews but also how being in straight up survival mode in a hostile quadrant affects the whole starfleet mentality. Instead it basically basically became TNG: Delta after just a few episodes.

Personal Log, Stardate 46372.4... Today, I reviewed the anatomy of the Tellarian female. It's quite fascinating. Did you know that the average Tellarian breast cup corresponds with a Human DD? Amazing! Here is a rough sketch of the Tellarian female body... [stick pic w/ massive boobies] Dr. Julian Bashir, signing out.
