By all accounts that was incredibly lovely. She's a big Star Trek fan and for the first two seasons at least her character was basically "hey, boobs".

When they did start giving her more to do she got psychically raped and developed the brain equivalent of an STD from it which made her a pariah in Vulcan society. Because if there's one thing you can count on Enterprise for, it's a thoughtful and respectful take on sexual assault and the associated trauma and taboo

Complete with a little peephole for Dr. Phlox to keep an eye on the proceedings, like old Times Square in space. Insert another quatloo for three more minutes

But the decon chamber also gave us the scene where they had to gel up Porthos, which was funny as all hell because they played it straight

It makes sense a Ferengi wouldn't think twice about trafficking women while shuddering at the thought of selling weapons that could kill a man

Quark: No, no, it's not dark. You're misunderstanding me.

Bashir: Yes, I think I am.

Quark: Yeah, you are. If the girl said no, then the answer is obviously no. The thing is that she's not gonna say no, she'd never say no... because of the implication.

Bashir: Now, you said that word "implication" a couple of times - what implication, Quark?

Quark: The implication that she might not have a job if she refuses to sleep with me. Now, not that she's not going to have a job, but she's thinking she might not.

I don't remember that. I just remember the hype being about 'conflict on the bridge' and that everyone didn't get along. That last all of 1 episode after the pilot.

I'm sure its been said a million times already in this thread, but Voyager really was a spectacular miss on what should have been a really great premise. Both in terms of the conflict between the two crews but also how being in straight up survival mode in a hostile quadrant affects the whole starfleet mentality. Instead it basically basically became TNG: Delta after just a few episodes.

Unless it was a Tarellian, or a Tamarian, or a Terrellian. Talaxian? Talonian? They're so hard to keep track of. Tarkanian? Tarkalean? Now they're all just starting to sound funny. Hell, at this point it might have even been a Tellarite or a Terran.
