Personally, if the imaginary number slapped onto an imaginary character is one that indicates the character is not an adult, and then this nonadult character is sexualized, that leads me to believe that the creator wanted to sexualize a nonadult character. If the number is truly arbitrary, a larger number could've been slapped on, but for some mysterious reason was not. I don't think the way the character behaves otherwise makes this stop mattering.

it's just weird that maidragon is the thing people talk about as an ultra woke wholesome thing and then whenever they have to acknowledge something weird about it try to like, shuffle it behind a curtain like it's just. a show/manga with some cool parts and some weird parts. that's all it is. people love made in abyss and the weird parts of that interlink much more with the whole of it

I haven't seen people go on about how Maidragon is super wholesome or whatever since it was airing. Like, the discussion in this thread isn't even in response to that it's people being concerned about a problematic character from season 2 when it shouldn't be a surprise because its the same comic that gets horny about the 6 year old and has the dragon that constantly sexually harasses a child.
