Once he got off the piss there was very little actual violence of an overt sort but he was a precise man with a wet towel that was fond of a good shower so there was still a real sense of stakes to trying this stuff even as whoopings fell out of favour

Depends on what you're doing. My partner charges $200 an hour but his clients are charging around that for the services they provide and need software customised for, so to them it's a reasonable rate.

I haven't been a contractor since 2011/2012 but my last gig before I became permie was $73/hour + super, 40 hours/week, 6 month basis.

Most contractors are on day rate so depending on skill level. Mrs spergo day rate is $800-1000 a day depending on the job but hers is more management. Senior dev probably $600-800 a day?

Caesar Saladin posted:drat big money in being a nerd nowadays Yeh it's pretty solid income but a lot of contracting work has no leave benefits so realistically you need to keep in mind that a day off costs you that daily rate of pay. Most of em can be done from home but so you don't have to go in all the time. Most of what my Mrs does is more project management stuff on IT stuff predominantly with banks, so like changes and rollouts within the big 4. Lymphoma is gone. I have a spot on one lung which was there when I was diagnosed and which hasn't grown in the last 8 months, so they're referring me to a lung specialist to work out whether it should be biopsied or just monitored by the CT scans I will be having every three months.

Full day of rain been sitting in the bom app for tomorrow all week just getting more mm and longer duration the more I look at it, I'm excited. Not sure what I'm putting in today but I'm doing something out there soon. I've got a few things in pots that could use a nice big hole in the ground somewhere downstream from the little hill channels I dug out Also the magpies are already pregnant. They don't swoop at all out here so I'm stoked BC they love using random poo poo to teach their babies to do things and it's adorable Jezza of OZPOS fucked around with this message at 02:34 on Aug 14, 2020 |
