Maybe "normal life" is really lovely in Wuhan and it returned to that, but I was there a few weeks ago and it was like that ravenholm level in hl2. Though that flooding was pretty intense in some parts and probably added to the end of the world vibe.

The reason I said that is Huawei is putting Kirin 990 into a lot of new models (P40 P40P P40P+ Honor 30P 30P+ etc), if they are running out of Kirin chips why would they do it. But the sanction itself is really nasty, its really hard for Huawei to get around it. I think China pretty much have to neogociate a package deal. Probably hundreds of millions of soybeans for 5 year for lifting Huawei sanction and Huawei Princess, throw everything in a basket. Also China is already throttling rare earth export. Looks like the rare earth export in July was 60% lower, or something in that effect.
