The last third or so of Still Alice (the Julianne Moore movie about Alzheimer's) where she's trying to commit suicide but keeps forgetting what she was doing or how to do it is possibly the scariest non-horror thing I've ever seen.

my sole living grandparent is suffering from that stuff and it seemed to start really soon after my grampy died. it sort of makes me wonder if it lies dormant in some people and can possibly be triggered by traumatic events or maybe a loss of comfort, routine, engagement, or something. maybe coincidental

The end of Come and See where the Nazis burn down the village is a loving nightmare of visual and audio stimuli that induced legit physical feelings of panic when I first saw it.

I get why people complain about shows like Supernatural going for too long, but then there's Don't Trust the B in 23 and Krysten Ritter hasn't had a role like that since. I'm all for too much of a thing so there's some gems in the trash, and Supernatural is a good example of that.

Me and my boys would play Madden '04 on the gamecube after school. We made our fat lovely old music teacher Mr. Greuter, gave him dogshit stats, and had him be the quarterback for the Cowboys. He'd get injured two minutes into the game every time. A couple of years later he was fired for taking creep pics of his students. From the school, not the Cowboys.
