What is it about Ed Bolian that I find so insufferable? Is it the inflection in his voice? Is it because he says in 20 words what could be said in 10? What is it?

Another vote for Rhyno to doooo eeeet. I got my kids new chairs since they're going to be schooling from home for a while. My son did a good job getting his together until the last bolt. It would go in a couple turns, then bind. I tried it, same result. It had a 10mm head on it, so I used my M12 impact... stopped that thing cold, and I have used that M12 impact for the entire construction job in my kitchen and basement... it's been a beast. So, since it wasn't cooperating and I wasn't going to send it back, I got the M18 impact out of the garage. 1400ft-lbs said "I'm not asking" and that damned bolt went right in with that kind of rear end behind it.

My wrists/hands/elbows are absolutely thrashed and I can't imagine doing... pretty much anything without the M12 ratchet and impacts. I just can't do that 'jam the hand in there and get 2 degrees of turn on the bolt and then blindly fumble with the wrench to get it back on' thing anymore.

Just a basic 4 shelf bookcase. My hands and wrists were in agony. Assembly took roughly half an hour, it wasn't exactly difficult. Then hanging THIS loving CEILING FAN and getting the blades on it put me in a whole new level of agony that has me hating ceiling fans and wishing they didn't exist. Having one of the screw holes in the ceiling box (fan rated, btw) just shatter didn't help either. Never hanging a loving fan again, gently caress that poo poo, I'll gladly pay someone $150 to hang my $50 builder grade fan next time. It doesn't help that I spend 40 hours a week on my hands and knees. Pretty drat sure there's a bit of arthritis going on, on top of the carpal tunnel. KYOON GRIFFEY JR posted:Didn't you all only get the LP9 turbo monstrosity? That engine was hosed. The LY7 NA 3.6 is pretty reliable, though. How does it compare to the LGX 3.6 in terms of reliability, if you know? It seems like it's considered as the same basic engine family, by GM anyway. cakesmith handyman posted:"my XJ is broken" I see you've been watching a lot of Matt's Off Road Recovery. ... his videos honestly kinda makes me want a fleet of 4.0 XJs. He tortures those fuckers and uses them in place of a proper wrecker (which likely couldn't reach most of where he goes in his videos anyway), and they just rattle out of whatever hellhole he puts them in without too much drama.

I've owned a VY wagon and those were land barges. The VE wagons are same wheelbase as sedan so not as much storage room. You can fit real size adults in the back seats though! Edit, today I found the first speedbump I cannot get over, and it's the fastest way to my favourite kebab shop
