It was a nice little story paced pretty well over 20 minutes. Towards the end I realized I hadn’t looked at his character in awhile, and when he popped up to select a lifestyle perk I was momentarily taken aback by how much he had aged since I last saw him. It was oddly affecting.

The music always really set the mood for me in CK2, so I'm hoping for a strong showing this time too.

That's exactly what you need from a preview video. OP Bavarian has published a video that looks more like a challenge run. ManyATrueNerd is an entertaining youtuber but his video was about the game reacting to dumb roleplaying he's known for - again, something that is fine to watch when you actually know the game.

Post-unification Spain, and he sounds a bit like Wallace Shawn. The hardest start one showed a lot of battles if that’s your thing. It seems like certain congenital traits (Intelligence/Physique/Attractive) have levels, this is referred to in the "Blood" legacy where it talks about strengthening congenital traits. I believe Comely is level 1 attractiveness, Pretty is level 2, while Beautiful is level 3. Likewise that Amazonian/Herculean trait posted earlier is almost certainly max level physique. I find all those videos unwatchable - every one i tried seems to have weird cuts in the action, with armies jumping around a lot, things happening far to quick. Are they all just playing at a very quick speed without ever pausing when in the character interfaces / responding to events, or are they just cut a lot to keep time down ? The dev livestream didnt have that problem, that was really enjoyable.
