just get something made of leather. You'll probably spend about $80 at Myers. Make sure it's actually your size. Belts have sizes, I didn't know this at a point, it's just your pants. Also it's fine that your belt ends up with a wear point where you bend it to buckle it in. Get something with a relatively plain buckle, fancy buckles don't match anything and are for turds. The only meaningful consideration is matching the colour of the leather to the colour of leather shoes you like to wear. For myself, I don't like wearing black shoes so all my shoes are brown and so are my belts. If you're wearing runners it doesn't matter what colour your belt is, you already declared to the world you don't care how you look.

He opens up quickly about his friendships with a lot of people of African descent in a way that seems to objectify 'blackness', which rubs a lot of the people in this thread the wrong way because on a not unreasonably strained construction it comes across as a little bit racist. This, alongside his open discussion of his drug use and sexuality, seems to have created a rift in the thread in Caredresser's absence. Personally I maintain that it is quite unnecessary and excessive. I don't know how many other people have actually met Blow, but as I have noted before he went out of his way to reach out and hang out with me when I was travelling to Sydney and all we did was have a good time, drink some beers and play some pool.

Fair play, but I think that the triple j showbag I picked up at the 1998 Sydney royal Easter show also deserves an honourable mention since the included stubby holder is still going strong all these years later.

Chris I hope this isn't an unfair description.

At a time he also blamed me for my (now ex) partner's mental health , and on a few VoIP calls it became increasingly evident he was playing up his Aussie accent and drugged up history ,that is to say, his schtick is arguably fitting in the medium of thread but on a live call it falls apart and he doesn't have a back up plan and it quickly becomes an exercise is trying to out Australian and impress internet weirdos

Also authentic posting on his mental gymnastics regarding his sexuality which is also :goleft:

Nah it's cos he's a wanker - constant copy pasting of wikipedia articles, multiple banal posts back to back, the stupid bong smiley after most of them. Plus he's creepy as all buggery, what with copping at least one lengthy probe for going on and on about his 14yo girlfriend's "perfect breasts" or some such. Yet somehow he's still here posting while our beturbaned compatriot marks his name amongst the permabanned.

R M Williams gets the vote. I will buy this 120 dollar black belt with a small buckle.

Also be aware that "leather" has grades, with "Full Grain" being the highest. Some places get away with a glue/leather mix which is not what you're after.

They aren't very good anymore last time I checked, the 90s ones are solid leather so they last well.
If you want a good belt just go to a leather smith and buy the parts it cost me about $10 for a strip of solid full thickness dyed leather and the metal bits and you can just pay a little more for the leather smith to put it together if you want.
