Yeah, Beyond will do shows at a local town auditorium and they don't tell the audience to not swear but the wrestlers can't swear as part of the deal. Satin has also admitted he plays an idiot for clicks. Last time he kicked off the "njpw needs women on the card" argument he admitted he knows and understands why Joshi is the way it is and that people are happy with it, he just wanted to kick off drama.

I don't watch the TSN feed but in the 90's they would render the show unwatchable by cutting away from Raw when objectionable content (which, as you can imagine, was several times per show) was shown. They'd cut to stick crowd footage from other shows and mute the audio. If they're still doing that I can completely understand Tony not wanting them to gently caress up the show.

Advertising on TV does not work at all how the wrestling world thinks and nobody is paying to specifically be on Dynamite (or Raw or Smackdown) or even knows or cares that their ads are airing during it. Although that's just their choice. They could allow it, since you can say whatever the hell you want and show nudity on even broadcast TV after like 10pm in Canada. There used to be a channel on basic cable that until about a year or two ago just showed hardcore porn after midnight. 10pm Shrek 2, midnight orgies.

I feel like they used to have some kind of uniquely Canadian warning ahead of Raw when they did this but I can't remember the wording. The actual Broadcast Standards decision is online though and is a pretty fun read for what would normally be a dry document.
