Bunch of us had gone to the pub next door beforehand so it was a bit of a struggle, both with bladder control and concentration. I was sat next to a drunk royal marine who kept making inappropriate comments about the priest so that didnt help. When we came out the bride went "well that was a bit loving long wasn't it".

I was wandering around n. argyle street in Chicago with friends looking for margarita makings late at night when I started hearing about that from news vendors we were passing. Honestly it was weird, she was such constant of UK/Irish pop culture reporting at the time that her dying so suddenly was really really odd.

Good god, I remember I'd just come back from that summer in Chicago , went to a party, got home after not sleeping for 3 days and had the choice of a. sleeping or b. going into the city to buy Turok for the absurdly overpriced n64 we'd bought without any games. I went and got Turok, got home and sat like a cabbage looking at the AMAZING water effects. Honestly, I regret nothing. (If I had been the one paying full price for the n64 I would have regretted plenty)
