The power behind the throne on the Texans is that strange character coach now defecto co-GM Jake Easterby.

BOB kicked a field goal on 4th and 1 and then went for a terrible fake punt the next series Never forget

Short arms was the dig on Whitworth as well. There were people 10 years into jis career saying "I know he's a border line hall of fame tackle but he'd be a slam dunk hall of fame guard." He'd go the year without allowing a sack and people would still gripe about kicking him inside.

if Daniel Sorensen hadn't made a difficult hero tackle that fake punt in the Houston KC game would have probably shifted things back to the Texans

^^-yeah Sorensen (who I love to hate on) just made a good open field tackleNissin Cup Nudist posted:BOB kicked a field goal on 4th and 1 and then went for a terrible fake punt the next series The fake punt was a fine call that just got sniffed out by one guy who made a play. The field goal on 4th and 1 and the subsequent explanation (after a time out!) that 'we didn't have a good play for that situation'....well not so much.

Looking forward to the rematch tomorrow where the texans go up by 50 with 5 minutes in the 2nd quarter only to go into the locker room down a score.

Not great for the Vikings: https://twitter.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1303789648213405697?s=20 Probably just being cautious. Also, Mike Evans already hurt his hamstring and will probably miss week 1 against the Saints. Hamstring caused him to miss the final 3 games last season. I liked the commentary on the Cowboys and the person seemed confused that replacing Jason Garrett should make them contenders now. Take a 13 year old Madden player and he'd out-perform Garrett, ya dingus.

People tend to ignore the fact that BOB has had more success with the Texans than Kubiak ever had in Houston. After all, it was Brock Osweiler who was the first QB to sweep a series against the Colts. Brock Osweiler!

Mr. Nice! posted:How much of that was a broken down Rodgers? Part of it, for sure. Rodgers got hurt week one and was hobbled most of the season. Mike also didn't use Aaron Jones AT ALL effectively despite him being an enormously talented RB. His schemes had no natural picks to try to free up receivers, meaning that unless your name was Davante Adams, you probably weren't open, so Rodgers spent too much time playing backyard ball or throwing the ball away or getting sacked. It was unwatchable. Hot Diggity! fucked around with this message at 22:49 on Sep 9, 2020 |

Bad usually means draft picks and cap space, which means rebuild. Mediocre means outside the playoffs, potentially directionless, and constantly frustrating.
