And part of the reason Franco and the fascists were able to take over Spain was in fighting between the anarchists and communists trying to fight them back.

My hot take on Scott Adams is: He is exactly the kind of guy who has been told that he is clever, and right, and special far too many times, and has started to believe it. And as a consequence, everytime he is proven wrong, and/or laughed at for being wrong or stupid his default response is "Nuh uh.
