Bicyclops posted:Sunshine is underrated, actually, and many of the shines, especially the ones where they steal the backpack, lay the epic groundwork for both Mario Galaxy and Mario Odyssey. Looking forward to playing it without a GameCube disc and a Wii. Sunshine really falls off toward the end, the last couple levels really can be frustrating as the camera, yoshi, water puzzles etc are kinda broken. Very strong summer feels though, I’ll probably save a play through of it until next year.

Yeah the abstract platforming levels were great. Probably the last time a mainline Mario game offered an enjoyable actual challenge outside of endgame/bonus content.

is there a web site for checking switch digital game deals. i originally bought carts for odyssey and botw but i have to do some traveling next month and i'll have time to go back and do some of the stuff i missed in those and i dont wnat to worry about carts when i'm contracting and dying from covid in various airports
