You lead feast to spread the good word of salivation, with great hunger in your eyes. The first thing you come cross is a stout stoat, but even though is has fine, bristly fur and quick paws, you easily catch it using your superior fishy brain and claws. Devouring it in one greedy gulp you feel the blessing of Asherah take hold as you grow both leaner and more hirsute. A while later you come across a minor battlefield, and though the dead have all been moved or eaten, footprints still remain to tell the tale of the scuffle. Follow the smaller, clawed footprints? The larger, shoed footprints? Ignore the footprints and head into the fields beyond the plains?

devour the small prey first to become bigger and stronger than the large prey.

You follow the smaller, clawed footprints to a cave on the edge of the plains, where they intersect with a forest and the fields beyond. The closer you get, the more tracks appear before your well drained, dark-visioned eyes, but the smell alone is enough to lead even a blind-mute-deaf man to this rank dungeon. Covered in sticks, stolen-hay and mud and littered with strange human debris and blood, the entrance would almost be foreboding if it wasn't so shoddily constructed. Either way, you scoot in easily enough and swallow the first creature you come across, some sort of tame, malnourished wolf undoubtedly used by the goblins as portable foodstock or emergency slave labour. Your stomach growls as the wolf-cub is far too scrawny to satiate your appetite or serve as an offering to Asherah, and so you continue further into the cave, towards the source of the smell. Some twenty minutes and twelve dead goblins later, you enter the centre chamber where a few of the hapless monsters actually appear to be armed. By now your presence has been noted and a **goblin quality** resistance has been waylaid against you. Much to your surprise, the goblins present actually stick to their lines and jab at you with crude spears from behind the most basic of ramparts - wooden logs hastily piled across the earthen floor - and as you contemplate who exactly you will eat first another surprise strikes you, as a larger-than-average goblin with large, ovoid eyes appears in the distance with a bucket filled with something not entirely liquid. It throws the bucket over the ramparts and quickly huddles back behind the rest of its kind, equally as fearful of you as whatever its contents were. Why becomes apparent when the bucket starts moving on its own, eventually falling to the side to reveal the goblin secret weapon: a green-ish-slime! Complete with a nearly cleaned out skeleton for maximum a e s t h e t i c s, this foe alone is at least on par with the others in the room combined, and whilst it may not be particularly nutritious and would certainly hold its own in a fight, if you could consume it surely you could gain some part of its power. Fighting it might leave you vulnerable to the goblins, however, leaving you with a tough choice... Attack the slime, ignore the goblins. Attack the goblins, ignore the slime. 👽 Attack the special goblin, ignore the slime and the other goblins.

Leave the slime until dessert because while A E S T H E T I C S aren't as important as HUNGER there is no reason not to keep it around while dining Al Gobbo
