Trite, contrived, mediocre, milquetoast, amateurish, infantile, cliche-and-gonorrhea-ridden paean to conformism, eye-fucked me, affront to humanity, war crime, should *literally* be tried for war crimes, talentless fuckfest, pedantic, listless, savagely boring, just one repulsive laugh after another

Journalists aren't much better, equating this and the assault on izzy kamikaze as equivalent.
That's particularly pathetic too, given that Izzy is still trying to get the cops to take action on an assault that happened in front of them.

Looks like the Gards are taking the Dublin lockdown seriously for the moment. Our 10am app here today just decided to drive in from Dalkey (of course) instead of postponing with us and got caught.

Also its a real shame that the first I heard about some legend like Izzy is cos some thick bigot split their head open with a plank :smith:

The amount of people here in the MIdlands rubbing their hands in glee over the Dublin lockdown is a bit sickening. "Finally, they'll know what we went through" is kind of a loving dumb way of going about things.

And I am feeling a bit annoyed at how people treated "Kildare was in lockdown for six weeks. Well I'm sure that's bad for them but it's for the greater good."

But when Dublin went into Level 3, the reaction from people online and in the media has been people losing their minds.

Like the increased lockdown features do suck. But I didn't see a whole lot of sympathy flowing our way when it was us in the lockdown.

So it seems that the decision has been made that when the fash assault someone at these "protests" the cops are just going to arrest the victims.

Easier to arrest one person than a dozen.

Though I thought there was a lockdown. Didn’t know that means you get garda escorts to your protest.

Fergal Sheehy, known fascist shitlord with multiple assaults on camera, brought his bike to it on the train from Dundalk, and then proceeded to hit one person with it while a Garda was holding that person back and nothing happened.

In what I'm sure will be a massive surprise to everyone, the leaving cert calculated grades system is hosed

From RTE :

quote:

It was intended that the students' aggregate class level Junior Cycle results in Irish, English and Maths would be included in the data used by the national standardisation process, together with their best two other subjects.

Instead, the students' results in Irish, English and Maths were put together with their weakest two other subjects.

The only way I can see how that could have been allowed to happen is if the system wasnt tested properly, working out a few random sets of results manually and comparing to what the algorithm threw up surely would have cought that very quickly?

loving over young people doubly by letting them all get rentals, then telling them they can't leave them to go to college. Or loving up their calculations completely meaning they get to start college when exactly?

I think the covid response here has pretty much devolved into a Britain-lite shitshow. Between the LC, kids going back to school, continuously rising figures of infection and a warning level system which I think frankly, people are simply ignoring. The handling of the situation by the government has seriously faltered and there are politic (let FF hang themselves) and economic (wanton outrageous profiteering) reasons for it but its a shitshow.

People are full on ignoring the Dublin lockdown. You can't move in Bray for Dubs. People keep lying to us on the phone booking shite and once we have em in they write their legit address on the forms. It's infuriating. Coming back to work with the general public has been a loving nightmare

I'm in a tricky situation were I have to refuse walk ins and so have to rely on bookings but I'm also on comission. I sent two people home yesterday because they wanted cheap poo poo and it wasn't worth risking it.

It's not as cut and dry as the mask poo poo. Where you just stop em at the door and they don't get in until they comply. And then you just lock the door.

Unless they show up with a load of penny's bags and stuff. Like make it less obvious girls please.

Having worked for a good few years in software testing, this is a failure in testing at the most fundamental level. From what I've been reading, two of the absolutely basic parameters were completely incorrect. Any halfway competent level of testing should have caught this, it's just mindboggling bad.

I wonder who got the contract.

For the longest time, and I’m assuming is still true today. Government software contracts usually get picked up by the big consultancy firms who then hire the cheapest third party to actually do the work.

When the cases first started increasing back in august he said it was an objectively good thing as there wasn’t deaths or icu reported, this was few weeks before those stats went up as they lag.

I’m amazed he’s so popular despite it being very obvious he’s a pro government shill. He was one of the few people to try discredit the golfgate journalists.

Is the Irish government just copying the UK at this point for some reason? Seems like literally every stupid thing the UK government does the republic seems to do as well?

Like they insist on having pubs open, they gently caress up the school results, they have ministers gently caress around and get caught breaking the rules, and they delay case reports, it's starting to get eerie.
