So that's two manga-ka that draw hosed up bloody faces in a similar way. (I was curious if it was the guy who drew Battle Royale, Masayuki Taguchi. It is not.)

I'm kind of annoyed that Urasawa's stuff isn't available digitally. There are still some weird gaps, like the Akira manga also is only available physically.

If any media were to be the first provided by brain-download distribution, it would absolutely be a manga that was big in the eighties. Or possibly Doom.

Jack, the freakish looking individual who is speaking in the panel, is having his entire body collapse from the inhuman drug regiment he was on. That is a body which is horrifying even for the fighters in Baki to look at, because Jack's bones are starting to break from the force of his muscles pressing against them and he is literally dying on his feet.

Be warned, This contains spoilers for a recent chapter of Chainsawman and pretty major spoilers for the series as a whole. Context: The big bad of the comic (the woman on the left) has just unleashed her team of ultra-demons against the main character's berserker form. About a third have already died.

Source: Eleceed, a korean webtoon series. Sorry for the format, 'vertical' layouts for phones and tablets are pretty common there, I did edit it a bit to cut down on vertical whitespace. It's a series I checked out purely due to due the strength of it's cover image: It's about 50:50 a shounen fantasy battle highschooler superpower series, and a sequence of excellent cats.
