I will not be voting for Joe Biden. I live in a solid blue state so it doesn't really matter anyway. At this point even if I lived in a place like Ohio I still probably wouldn't, gotta keep that foot on the gently caress American empire gas pedal.

Can someone photoshop up a “Vote Blue? No! Matter who!” graphic? I need another obnoxious way to spam friends besides reposting the NoJoe tag.

At least the CHUD states recognize and celebrate their chuddiness. Here you have to argue till your blue in the face with some smug classist who assumes because they live in California, that politically they're the only begotten son of Jesus Christ and Eugene Debs but they don't support a $10 tax on million dollar + homes to help the homeless. The vicious reflexive penny pinching hatred of any sort of collective project. First got here and couldn't understand why there were no restrooms or water fountains in the parks, and all the school yard playgrounds are chained up and locked down. God forbid anyone ever get something for free, or share a common good with someone else who has as much right to it as they do. It shamefully took me until very recently to truly internalize that there really isn't a difference between chuds and libs other than veneer. They're just M&Ms, different colors but exactly the same in every way.

They emailed my ballot to the wrong address (my fault) but I got it fixed and I'm ready to vote! (not for Joe) I find it funny that the order of candidates on California's ballot goes: Gloria, Kanye, Howie, Jo, Joe, Donald

I mean, yea. They're usually not this open about it outside of their private facebook gorilla-meme groups, though. First thing on landing I had to listen to some out and out chuddery that would get you punched or at least screamed at in the face in NYC and it was supposedly progressive dem libs spouting it. It's the intellectual complacency of Californians. In the same way Boomers believe they were all against vietnam and segregation, despite their lived experience of being massively for those things, because the TV shows they've watched for 40 years told them otherwise, Californians all assume they must be as lefty and as liberal as the most psychopathic Texas sherriff assumes they are. In the same way that libs can vote for slavery and it's good actually cause they vote blue, and blue is good, so the slavery they do must be some kinda good slavery, any Californian trying to get homeless people killed or voting away black people or gay people's rights is actually uh, the most progressive person you can imagine and maybe if you don't like it why'd you come here (the answer is it's where my job is and if I free movement of labor existed I'd be gone in a heartbeat) PipHelix has issued a correction as of 01:49 on Oct 8, 2020 |

The numbers mostly jive with https://electproject.github.io/Early-Vote-2020G/index.html, which is saying that the advantage in mail-in for the Dems means they'll do better. Against that I'd say that the mail-in balloting is supposed to favor Biden 2-1 but isn't.

Got my ballot yesterday, and I'll be doing my research to see if I even want to vote for the 3 downballot dems, or if I should just leave them blank like the 20 or so unopposed republicans. I may vote for one of them, assuming all the attack ads are true and she supports the GND and M4A which are "too liberal for radical Joe Biden"

# ? Oct 8, 2020 13:41 |

i'm just leaving them blank here tbh, there's only one person even remotely good on the ballot and she's running for representative in a district that hasn't elected a republican since before eisenhower and which recently got gerrymandered to make it safer for whichever democrat incumbent lands in it, lol, sucks for you lacy clay eat poo poo the only other thing worth going to vote for is to make a point voting for howie, and whether or not that's worth it depends on how much of a plague nest the polling location looks like since i'd have to commit voter fraud or pay a poll tax to vote by mail here lol gently caress america gently caress democrats but especially gently caress joe biden
