Not that it helps you, but generally change of insured status would also trigger an enrollment period. But yeah, once you decide you want private insurance that covers pre-existing conditions you kinda have to limit enrollment periods. That's why private health insurance is dumb.

loving Ohio BoE. I mailed in my application like 2 weeks ago and they still haven’t sent me my ballot. They sent my primary ballot in 2 days. I suspect something went wrong. Now I’m debating whether or not it’s worth the energy to try and figure it out, or if I should just wait and then decide whether or not to go to the plague centers to vote on the 3rd... I’ve voted in every election where I’ve lived since 1998, but if they want to make it hard and/or dangerous for me to vote this time, I’m having a hard time getting worked up over it for this loving shitshow...
