If I had shoved my account into SPY calls instead of buying 2 I would be up 100k today as well. Instead I made smart decisions and my portfolio is up 3% and I'm very disappointed. The stock market causes mental illness.

JPMs business is too diverse and intertwined for this type of analysis. For example, low interest rates environments are incredibly good for their giant advisory business because it spurs both M&A and LBO activity they can take points on. There are business lines across the firm that fall on both sides of how well they do in low rate times. They have expanded into that by design
