- Taichi: went from really good to a MOTYC machine
- Britt Baker: went from go-away heat to the best character in AEW
- Hangman Page: went from very very good to future company ace
- YOSHI-HASHI: went from being YOSHI-HASHI to a legit good wrestler
- Tay Conti: went from being a nobody to a potential star

I think most outstanding is the one who has the best matches while wrestler of the year is some kind of combination of match quality, drawing ability and general star power.

Most outstanding only considers match quality while wrestler of the year consists of all the qualities that makes a great wrestler great. Someone like Tomohiro Ishii is a strong contender for most outstanding but would struggle in areas such as charisma, drawing power and star quality in the wrestler of the year voting.

For a major promotion? That's how I've always understood Best Rookie, like how you can be Rookie Of The Year in the NBA no matter if you've played in the euro leagues, college, or came in right out of high school. If you're debuting for a major promotion, you're eligible.

I know some people have debates about what constitutes a rookie, but a man who started wrestling over a decade ago is stretching the definition very very far. If he qualifies we should be voting for WARDLOW.
