The Planetes anime is okay but the original manga is like miles better. More focus on the crew of the garbage ship and less corporate stuff. Also the manga goes on longer and actually continues passed the point where the Jupiter mission leaves.

A few pages ago someone mentioned Eltingville in regard to Anime Club comics. Do you mean the one drawn by Evan Dorkin, that he put in the back of his Milk and Cheese comics? That was fun. He did a one with grown up adult versions of the teens in the club, and it was suitably creepy.

Yakuza Husband is one joke but considering that one joke has not only lasted throughout the story but also carries the Yakuza video game series through like a dozen entries it is one extremely good joke.

I immediately thought that it was not at all what they sound like in my head, but couldn't identify what the right answer would be. Now any comics I read for a while I'll try and listen to my mind's voice and get mad at how difficult it is

Maybe since I don't have to create a picture of the person myself I also don't assign them a voice? Weird.
