I had trouble placing it at first but the discussion above made it click. If you care, its a type of mana that can be either paid with its colour or with two life, and pretty much every card it appears on is hopelessly broken and it's one of the most banned mechanics in the game by the percentage of cards it's on.

At least it's video games, and not white supremacy. lovely MMA tattoos are an incredibly deep, rich vein to mine if you want to check them out. For example, Darren Elkins' nickname is The Damage. He wants to make sure no one ever forgets that.
