Updated coverage maps. Fewer people are being subjected to Jets Dolphins but I'm not sure if it's to many or not enough. https://506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2020&wk=6

Derrick Henry's crazy HS numbers reminded me of reading about DeShaun Foster in the local newspaper when/where I was growing up, kinda the same thing of a few hundred yards and however many TDs every week. Couldn't find any individual game logs besides this title game, when his school went up against Carson Palmer's:quote:Palmer ended with five TDs (413 yards passing) while Foster scored six times (378 yards rushing) in the Eagles' 55-42 win over Tustin.

I know of at least one NFL TE who kicked field goals in high school because when you’re that much better than everybody else you just end up doing everything. Surely he’s not the only one.

I'm sure he's kicked FGs in practice. If he played soccer and did kickoffs then he can kick a FG.

And because they're playing the Lions, he will hit a 50 yard game winner

Surely Morten Andersen was available.

This made me remember when Ndamukong Suh tried a (Older, shorter) PAT at least once. Wes Welker I think made a short field goal with the Dolphins and Patriots in real games, and the Bengals used to let Chad Johnson screw around in the preseason. Non-kickers attempting kicks owns and should happen more often. Silly Burrito posted:Surely Morten Andersen was available. Adam Vinatieri too expensive?

Kaep should try to get really good at kicking field goals. It's the clearest path back into the league.

I didn’t realize it was that rare. Offhand, I can name a few punters (Reggie Roby, Marquette King, and Reggie Hodges), and a ton of guys from Europe or South America, but I can’t recall a black place kicker. Spoeank posted:THE SHERIFF IS A KICKER

Colts would be better off giving up on Rivers and seeing if Brissett can get back to his play pre-injury but I certainly won't complain if they play him the rest of the season.

japtor posted:I think on my team our QB was the punter/holder and WR was the kicker. We had a lot of trick play potential. Just as amazing now as it was then. Rivers should absolutely be benched. He's the most washed of the old QBs. Even drew and Brady aren't as bad as him, dude just looks lost. Brisset may not be "The guy" but he'll win ya'll the south and maybe a playoff game or two if lucky.
