Yknow what this world series is lacking? A maniac Max Scherzer type. I remember last year he was constantly pacing and marching up and down the dugout and bullpen with pure fire in his eyes. He was terrifying.

Walker Buehler has a 2.44 career postseason ERA in 55.1 IP across 10 starts entering tonight. That includes 7 shutout innings against Boston in 2018 to begin the 18-inning game, and only 1 ER in 11 innings over two starts against Atlanta last week in the NLCS despite his blister issues. (It does NOT include the 6.2 innings of shutout ball he threw in the winner-take-all Game 163 for the Dodgers in 2018.) Buehler has not allowed more than 2 runs in a postseason start since the 2018 NLCS (8 starts). I think he has looked better and better with each start in these playoffs (gamescores: 54, 58, 59, 64), and am hopeful he's about to peak at exactly the right time.  Lets loving Go!
