It's becoming precedent that you can wrestle people off the bases as long as you can sell it because there's pretty much no way to overturn it lol

Going to the drive-in at Dodger Stadium tomorrow night.

It wont be the same as when I scored last minute tickets to game 6 in 2017, but if they win I'll be happy just to be there.

the Astros got bounced so there is no reason for an announcer to try to shoehorn their "adversity" narrative into a game to appear impartial

Me and a buddy were right outside Wrigley Field for game 7, made it down there just in time before police closed off the entire surrounding few blocks. Thousands of people all huddled in the streets, you could hear a pin drop after Rajai Davis hit the home run off Chapman to tie the game. One of the more surreal experiences when they won, people crying on the sidewalk and losing their minds and as we were leaving shortly afterward thousands more people were flooding in towards Wrigley. The streets were completely packed with people for many blocks around it took us almost an hour of pushing and shoving to get out. Probably will never experience anything quite like that again.

As much as that NLCS stung it was cool to see the physical manifestation of winning after that kind of drought for that kind of fan base. I was really happy for everyone.

Lots of tears and joyful shouting on every corner, and plenty in the middle of the street.

I can only imagine how nuts it was in Wrigleyville.
