i can still hear that THUNK as his head hits the the concrete in my mind today. e; kurt also broke his tailbone at some point so he couldn't toss shane hard enough, this match was a meat-grinder on both guys but especially shane's brain. Listened to Miro on the Jericho pod today, good listen. Opens with a classic about his last WWE match. It's Rusev & Humberto Carrillo vs. Bobby Lashley & Angel Garza and he's meant to win. When he goes out there, plans change brother and he's taking the pinfall from Garza. So he takes the pin and he claims normally he didn't care, but this time he sees Garza celebrating and sees red, charges him and takes him down then poses for some cheers. And both he and Jericho explode laughing at this point "They, who the hell is they, it's you! You booked this!" Bunch of other funny stories, he seems quite annoyed about how everyone leaks to the dirt sheets and implied around the start of the pandemic, he held some kind of meeting with some other wrestlers about looking after everyone, he got stooged out and might be why he was let go. Seems to have had a tempestuous relationship with Vince. Jericho also buries a lot of the other released talent by sorta saying the only ones he was interested in was Miro and the Good Brothers and Tony was only interested in Miro and one other guy. Worth a listen.
