it goes without saying our current kleptocracy isn’t sustainable in the short or long term. so if you had your way what would come next? I think here in the good ole Satan we should have a countrywide lottery where everyone under 35 has their names submitted and then the president, their cabinet, courts et al. including local councils are all chosen at random every year. imo it would prevent power hungry megalomaniacs from seizing and keeping the reigns of government, limit nepotism and eliminate the career politician whose only concern is status quo-ing long enough for re-election and then loving off or dying before experiencing the full consequences of their actions. I would make lobbying of any kind illegal, grant complete civil rights to primates and dolphins (yes, this would mean we could have a president gorilla or a president dolphin), dismantle our nuclear weapons program and decrease the pay of all federal workers to garbage person wage (or raise garbage person wage to president pay) - completely disincentivize anyone going out and seeking the job. leaders voting for an act of war would be required to participate on the front lines. there would be no added benefits to governing. and there would be strict oversight dictating all taxpayer dollars would be spent on taxpayers - not on the military or private industry of any kind. the white house would be converted to a museum of american atrocities and no one would live there

national quizquote:In a different world than the one we live in, a world where Japan is the lone superpower of the world, there is a wildly popular game show called the National Quiz. Every night, people dreaming of riches, fame, vengeance and happiness compete on the show, for the chance to be granted a wish, any wish they have: the National Quiz has the power to make your wildest dreams come true. It also has the ability, if you lose, to make your life a living hell.
