You can click on a lot of paintings and objects to take a closer look at them, sometimes when you take pictures they can show up on your office corkboard, small details that aren't necessary to the plot but serve as immerse you deeper into the game. Used to play it a lot when I was younger and still have my old copy. Maybe I'll do an LP of it one of these days.

Film Brain was invited to this year's London Film Festival as a critic (and the festival has mostly been held remotely so he could watch most of the films from his home) and so he has been able to put up reviews of many of the films featured. Wasn’t breadtube just wishful thinking by internet posters writing erotic friendfiction about their favorite youtube channels? It’s true insofar as people know each other and collaborate, plus have some prominent self-declared enemies in common, but I don’t think it was ever a branding thing or some kind of deliberate effort, though I don’t really follow many of the more narrowly political communists/anarchists who don’t do scripts or jokes.

Often YouTubers like to pretend that there aren’t companies behind them, as it adds to the aura of authenticity that’s so important on the platform, but if you see an in-video advertisement (like for Curiosity Stream, Raycon, or whatever the flavor of the month is now), there’s a 70% chance that the channel has some level of management that is helping to run/organize things.

But I'd probably be less inclined to watch one of his videos if he did another landlord video but also another guy was just there to also commentate on how much landlords sucked.

When I first saw Matty Matheson on Munchies I had quite a visceral dislike of him, like OH GOD he's trying too hard and all that poo poo. Then I actually watched his vids and now I absolutely freaking love the guy. Food don't half look amazing either. MICHEEEEELLLLLLLLEEEE!!!!!! EDIT: More content.
