i don't know whether it's more incredible that this english learning ps2 budget game has a middle aged florist women immediately talk about how she wants to meet a samurai in japan, or that the conversation immediately goes from that to her talking about how she has a friend who really loves the shinsengumi and wants to meet them, seemingly not understanding that the shinsengumi hasn't existed for decades

10 episodes (and a movie!) away from finishing K-On. I know I'm like a decade late, but man, what a charming show. I was sorta concerned at first that Sawako would become an annoying character if they kept playing up how inappropriate her behavior can be (as in, "trying to grope her students", not that she was a death metal singer, which owns) but that basically disappears after the first season? Also halfway through Gundam X (which makes for some tonal whiplash, let me tell you), and... it's fine, I guess? I'm enjoying some of the character but the story is plodding along, the recurring villains' motivations haven't been made explicit and I'm starting to notice the stock footage. I fully get now why the show's run was cut short, there's just not much there if you compare it to Wing's craziness.

Gundam X always just kinda felt like it was..just there, I guess. There's nothing particularly wrong with it as such, but it doesn't do a whole lot. I like the X Divider though.

Oh yeah, I've got some advice for comics if anyone had started or in the middle of doing "jump in style" storytelling. My friend used to do a comic for "shonen weekly" and its most obvious in the TPBs; when a chapter ends, it ends like normal. The next one has the characters repeating the lines from the previous one and its redrawn at a different angle.  This is the end of one chapter.  This is the beginning of the next. Edit: Btw there was a long running factual joke about this comic  Somehow, absolutely nobody reads it. Well, I did. "Akime" worked really hard on this but christ almighty. Y'know, I always make stuff that gets a few fans, like, as far as media goes, so I can keep folks as friends about it. A lil message from what we talked about at anime club; the software you suggested will indeed work. It all went to the hardrive in a solid brick of episodes, minus one that is plot wise after it all anyhow. There may be some goofy "episode ends but then onto the next one stuff" filewise, but that even fits the show well. Edit; Theres one thing thats very iffy. When playing it in windows media player before getting it all together, the subtitles HAVE to be selected before the jpn audio track, or they just wont play. Therefore, when combining it, its gotta be done in the same order. Might be because there is a secondary subtitle list for only "shop signs and soundtrack" for some bizzare reason.
