Richard Spencer isn't the only white supremacist or fascist who exists. As far as I can tell he is pretty fringe compared to someone like Stephen Miller. I'm not really sure what's so controversial about taking some joy at upset conservatives, a ton of whom are fascists and white supremacists. It doesn't really matter who actually won the presidency.

its good that trump isnt president anymore. i didnt vote for biden but its still good. still have a lot of organizing ahead but have had plenty of sign ups and people interested. many people will have illusions in biden to start off, but if you are patient and keep organizing and fighting you will also find that many of those people will have those illusions disabused. you wont do that though if you just poo poo all over them for being glad that trump is gone. be happy with them and then point towards what more needs to be done.

to be slightly optimistic, I don't sense the same kind of jubilation you got with obama in 2007. I don't know if the democratic party is ever going to be a real vehicle for change but i think people are digging in for another fight to not die penniless from the plague. I don't know what that means in the long run, the easiest answer is "nothing" but who the hell knows anymore.
