One of the more interesting things alab went into with the episode is not just chuckling at weird porn writing and being kinda understanding to teenagers or whoever just expressing themselves through writing porn and distinguishing that from addison cain dumping money into lawsuits and phony dmcas. alab's a good podcast to listen to, imo

Sounds incredibly banal and boring but I guess it sold really well. no it is actually about his real life experiences and is incredibly in depth, which of course is banal because most people’s minute to minute hour to hour day to day life is incredibly banal and boring, but it is somehow increibly compelling where you’ll have dozens of pages of poo poo about like finding an old porn mag in the woods at age 10 and jacking off to it or trying to get booze to a party and then there will be a couple paragraphs that are like a moment of complete clarity and then back to utter (yet highly readable) descriptions of picking up his kids from school
