Seraph, you've never explained how bitcoin is going to replace all world currencies? Deflationary currency is a very bad thing for a functioning economy since it impedes the flow of capital. Why would I buy an ice cream today when I can have 3 by waiting for tomorrow? Meanwhile the ice cream vendor goes out of business because I didn't buy ice cream. This is a bad thing.

stdh.txt seraph used to come in here a lot and argue that capitalism is bad, therefore bitcoin I've posted this a lot of times over the years but it bears repeating at least once more. They can both be bad. Bitcoin doesn't solve capitalism's issues, and instead amplifies a lot of the existing ones while creating many entirely new ones. I do not regret not getting in when btc was 80 cents because having followed this dumb poo poo for as long as we have, I know for a fact that I would've had my investment wiped out by at least one of a lot of big-deal events that happened in the last 12 years. Also Klyith's twilight zone what-if scenario about goons getting in causing bitcoin to never get big in the first place is a great take. dont bother quoting this seraph, i'm not gonna debate you like you crave

honestly, I don't even have a problem believing that some insane people made tons of money off bitcoin, that's how gambling works! some people win!
