So happy to be living in the borough that the London news has picked as an example of how badly councils are doing. Now I know how many libraries and children's centres are getting decimated and how many people are losing their jobs! Normally I avoid even thinking about our council as they were systematically removing social care and children's facilities long before it was cool. Tories kept getting in for years by promising no council tax rises and stealth funding it that way. Now they have nothing left to cut but they still have to cut it. I don't have much capacity for anger these days, but some faint sparks have been kindled.

I finally caved and got a ps+ subscription so I could run these hacked chalice dungeons in bloodborne and get all the cool runes and holy poo poo the amount of echoes you get down here especially with all 3 moon runes equipped is lol indeed

Up until now covid has been kinda ignorable, aside from the sweet gig of full time work from home. But now christmas is nearly here it's started to get a bit more real. My mum has virtually no immune system due to medication, while my fiancee sees covid patients daily. I'm now having to mediate an argument between my fiancee's desire to not proxy-murder her future in laws via covid, and my parents wanting to roll the dice and have me visit for christmas day

My Mother abandons us every Christmas to go carp fishing in Devon. My Dad will probably be freezing his bollocks on his boat that he bought 8 years ago and hasn't moved from its mooring. We usually have my wife's dad and grandad around but I don't think her dad wants to run the risk of bringing the 'vid down from Manchester and prematurely giving us grandads inheritance.

Fallen out with the girlfriend because she is bubbled with a sexy widower. She has now given me an ultimatum and is going to delete all my games off the Xbox unless I ask and explain why I want them kept because she wants to play the Sims. Little does she know I'm going to cancel the Xbox monthly subscription thing I've paid for for the last year lol. I'm not really.

I'd sort of hoped my mum would adapt her Christmas plans in light of the pandemic. Instead she's playing silly buggers and trying to justify counting multiple households as one. We're currently on six households and thirteen guests I think I need to deploy the "then you're not seeing your grandkids" big guns
