when you jump on a baddie in conic the hedgehog or mario its pretty obvious whether youre jumping on it and killing it or running into it and getting killed. In that game I can't tell what the gently caress is going on and whether youre about to die or the baddie is about to die. Even watching someone else playing these games makes me anxious and panicked.
