They may not be as famous as their eastern counterparts but the northwest has some awesome lighthouses. I imagine they're really important too, given how many cliffs and rocky shoals there are on the west coast.

I hope that nickname spreads!

I have to admit I respect the 49ers this season. They lose the majority of their key players early in the season and have one of the toughest schedules in the league, and they are still within reach of the playoffs 12 weeks in. I still want the Seahawks to crush the rest of the NFC, but I think I will root for the 49ers otherwise.
