Footballzebras' book owns and the explanation seems plausible to me. I haven't seen anyone on either side of the debate cite an actual rule, but "you get a free timeout if an opponent is injured" seems to create some not-so-great incentives

Probably would've been better off having like... one of those characters to start, a bunch of new outside of comics / tertiary characters and introduced the main avengers later on. Also you know, having more then like 2 kinds of robots and some mercs to fight.

Going back to my fatalist viewpoint: the Steelers are gonna tighten up defensively in the 2nd (e: 2nd half) and RGIII and co. are just gonna play worse.
