The options were the Blue Labour "a bit of racism is what we need to win" candidate in Nandy, Jess Flaps for a Jesser Britain, the "soft-left" candidate (& let's be clear, the soft-left is relative & a term basically outdated. Despite their posturing there's barely a Rizla between them & the Blairites) or the candidate backed by McDonnell & Abbott & y'know the loving Socialist Campaign Group MPs & Momentum & the only one with any interesting of not making the entire Corbyn leadership a footnote of history. Mostly I'm not really able to get mad about party politics anymore, I severed except to occasionally yell into the void that Labour is dead as a vehicle for socialism & the best hope is that the organisational forces behind Momentum are used to start a new party that isn't loving poo poo & with a bureaucracy full of wreckers & liberal careerists & wrecker liberal careerists, but god the fact that so many people who'd supported Corbyn through even the chicken coup ended up giving up & voting Starmer still has the power to make me mad. forkboy84 fucked around with this message at 17:39 on Dec 4, 2020 |

Also, being a finance place everyone has to take a two week block at some point in the year.
