A travesty Domestication is a long difficult process and humans are much more likely to just adopt the critters already on that path rather than start from scratch with similar species. Like there were aurochs all over Europe up until the 17th century, but European cattle breeds all descend from the ones hanging around Mesopotamia 10,000 years ago. Wolves were bigger which made them more useful.

I think this falls under uplifting. The Wallabies Rugby team sing the Australian national anthem in an a First Nations language, Eora (Sydney area), and then English before their match with Argentina. My wife loves dachshunds and has advised me of her very pressing desire to have one if our living circumstances permit. We have a great cavador right now so it'll probably be a few years but rest assured I will share with the thread if that happens.
