Yeah it was good because you didn't ever have to find one specific thing to build what you wanted. The middle step of the four base building blocks made the system really flexible.

From what i remember blueprints were usually easy to find and in fairly logical places. Like, you'd find a blueprint for a new laser weapon in the weapons research lab, that sort of thing.

Okay that is a good system. I love logical item placement or things being like you would expect it to be. The MJ-12 Weapons Depot in Deus Ex....was like the goddamn sporting goods store backroom in Commando and not just two guns.

I pressed the play button and it resumed downloading but only for like 40 seconds. I have to keep restarting steam to get it to resume downloading. Christ.

fwiw, mine varies between 85 and 120 or so. I don't really know how the decryption process works, but I imagine it might be limited by how much it can process per second more than just how fast your write speed is.

once the download finishes and turns into a decrypt, it adds 3 gigs to indicate the amount of room it takes up decompressed

Everyone please calm down, it's just normal launch jitters and things will smooth out just give it a little time. The important thing to remember is relax, take a deep breath and go post a scathing negative Steam review.

I just edited my post to include this but because I was too slow and this thread is moving at a million miles a minute I'll just repeat myself:
"You could also recycle useful items that you just didn't want or weren't using, like health packs if you had a bunch. Then you could make more ammo, for example."

It's a really good game! If you're looking for a game to play right now I highly recommend it.
