Sure is a shame that the economic damage from Covid is going to offset the glorious boon from Brexit, which was actually a good thing all along, and the Covid damage would have been a lot worse had we not Brexited, all the bad stuff is due to Covid and those loving scroungers with their furlough payments, so we will be gutting *spins wheel* disability benefit to pay for it, loving scroungers

A big citizenship ceremony where everyone involved is extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed but has to pretend to be having a great time is really the perfect introduction to life as a Brit. In seriousness, all sounds pretty good and I'm surprised and heartened that there appears to be such support for it.

They'll probably try and claim for the whole thing, and you can do the whole "this was your error and this is outrageous treatment etc etc" thing, and then hopefully you can get them to waive most of it to keep you as a loyal customer. But knowing where that maximum claimable line is in advance is good so you can press them to calculate the goodwill from there and not, like, the whole amount.
