Then it's decided, we're lacing all of the worlds drinking water with world shattering amounts of acid. Sweet.

nah bad idea, a dose of most hallucinogens creates a cross-tolerance that precludes doses from working for multiple days after. it's why it's basically impossible to develop truly crippling addiction

Does that basically work out to about one hour of bonus pay per month? Because LMAO holy poo poo

Would death by acid trip be more or less humane than the obvious culling method of "shoot them"? This is obviously something we need to plan for, what with elephants not being hunted to near extinction for their tusks.

Drugs that make you feel nice and loose and pro-social, but don't leave a hangover or develop dependencies. Maybe if you take too much, you just fall asleep before you can OD. You could also develop mild hallucinogens that give you a trippy visual experience for a few hours, then wears off gently, no harsh comedown. Fun for a party or a concert or a night at home staring at swarms of spiders on the ceiling with the whole family. Save the heavy entheogens for guided therapy sessions. dunno if you're being ironic or not but you've basically described LSD

I guess to cull the homeless or something? Is LSD production actually expensive? I was under the impression that it's fairly simple to make, the hard part is the illegality? And I guess the market for non-addictive drugs is less lucrative and thus has fewer suppliers.

During the 90s, most of the world's LSD was produced in an old rocket silo in Wamego, Kansas. https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/wamego-lsd-missile-silo https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Leonard_Pickard https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_Sand A lot of LSD production dried up after a big raid on the facility in the late 90s, and also when the Grateful Dead stopped touring, which cut off one of the major distribution networks for the drug. Yes, I'm serious. http://www.furious.com/perfect/gratefuldeadlsd.html

In a car, you could potentially make am ad that says "It has this much power, it has this range per unit of gasoline, it has this and that safety measures." That is, concrete, measurable things. You cant say anything like that about perfume. Deodorants, detergent, toothpaste, freshener.... the ad can only sell an image, a sensation.
