Also I am 100% sure Braindance was cut from the game. They kept marketing it as the next big thing. You get a headset as an award from Judie, and you can buy other ones, and they are listed as Misc not Junk. The only braindance segments you do is in scripted main missions.

But yeah it is weird it's not junk but explicitly says it's "not compatible with your hardware".

I kind of wish epic and legendary items meant more, instead of being something I scrap in a few levels time when commons are now better than them and I don't have enough parts to upgrade them to match my new level.

How often do you upgrade items you like as you level? There's a few early pistols that seem good to keep on hand, but I don't know if I'm wasting components or should wait until I hit max. The main quest lines once you're into Act 2 are legit good. This line where you're hunting down Evelyn (which by the way is loving weird because my daughter's name is Evelyn) is basically just the loving storyline from Hardcore (1979) and it loving owns. I also appreciate that V is basically a pretty good dude/gal and it's hard to make them a real deal shithead, which I think at least one of the reviews I read brought up. Miles better than 90% of the dumb poo poo Rockstar stuffs into GTA.

There's a lot of masc/femme mixing in Finger's design, that gives me heavy genderqueer energy. The long fingernails and fishnet stockings, combined with heavy set features and deep voice? That's gender fluid, if not straight up genderfucking. The game doesn't explicitly define their gender or sexuality (beyond the old, "what kinks aren't they into?" depravity jag) but Fingers doesn't present as cis.

Reading through this thread, am I ever glad that I didn't read one Cyberpunk article or watch one video before launch. This game is super fun and awesome and its nice not comparing it to years old promotional content that looks different.

I have an extremely annoying bug. This flat yellow location marker like thing popped up at some point and is ever present whenever I can pull my guns out. It acts like a location marker, but will always be at the same height and isn't tied to anything in the real world. It also stays at the same height no matter where I am in the workd. I've tried switching out my gear and messing with my UI settings and it's still there. Anyone have a solution for this?

The equipment/loot system in this game is pretty stupid. Levelled equipment in general sucks. I'm finding epic quality dirty tank tops and common quality plaid shirts and guns that are better than the epic quality ones I picked up a couple levels back. Like the actual thing would be to just remove the dumb levelling all together, and have poo poo like tank tops, jeans and plaid shirts be "common" and not offer much armor value, with the uncommon and rare and epic stuff being like high quality designer poo poo with clothing mod options and actual armor, like worn by cops and military, with epic being like one of a kind stuff with unique strengths and weaknesses.

The game’s UI is something else, the skills and whatnot are crazy overwhelming, needs some polish. But it’s a really drat good game and I don’t understand some of the complaints, unless you were expecting Cyberpunk Citizen 2042

Can you sell back cyberware? I've replaced a few pieces I got early with straight upgrades and as far as I can tell I can't trade them in or disassemble them or do anything at all with them.

Disabling double press to dodge has been a game changer: https://www.gosunoob.com/cyberpunk-2077/disable-double-tap-to-dodge-rebind-dodge-key/ Pressing direction + crouch will still dodge and I'm fine with that. Put crouch toggle on mouse 4 and dodge feels natural now. Having to edit xmls to do all this isn't great, but at least you can do it. I've got keybindings to where I'm happy, ESDF and all.

Well as I thought I’m king idiot (mostly for not fixing it). While the Mac is great for streaming on GeForce Now the reason the graphics look too mushy is since the game is in 1080p, but the monitor is 2k or whatever retina was on a 27 inch monitor for late 2013) I think the scaling is just not right or something. It’s kind of a testament to how much I like the game, that I just powered through it. Then again I tried it on my phone for a comparison. So perhaps I’m just super off. I think I need to find a chrome book option that can just sent the signal to my tv or another monitor, which the Mac can’t do. GeForce Now though is still listing its GoG version as 1.03. Has anyone gotten a 1.04 version yet?

There are so many little satisfying moments in this game, for instance leaving the room and throwing a grenade before closing the door on the little XBD family business that made a snuff video of some preacher's son. I couldn't hack them and set them on fire, so that was the next best thing. Easily the most revolting dialogue so far. Braindance is the new "The Internet was a mistake" in 2077. Cool idea, but it's used for either porn and snuff. Sometimes both.

I keep hearing people talk about long rewarding sidequests that help shape the story. I'm still in Act 1 but so far everything I've come across has either been a gig, a Cyberpsycho or very short, simple missions. Were people exaggerating or does that stuff not start appearing until later on?
