Looking for an old meme which I’ve lost on a dead hard drive. It’s a woodcarving of a guy and a man who looks very tired and is implied to be (or is) Louis Pasteur. The guy is saying something like “Hey, look forward to your presentation on pasteurization. Anyway, gotta take my kid to soccer practice.” And Pasteur says, to himself, something like “Oh poo poo I guess I have to figure out how to pasteurize something now.” It is currently of surprising relevance to my job, and everything I’ve Googled just results in images about pasteurization.

Scenario! Dog vs Cat It was on Adult Swim ~14 years ago. It was short clips of an animated dog and cat debating. Seemed fairly improvised and was quite funny. I remember the dog saying 'point dog' a lot, and one time the cat saying 'point cat' and the dog started to break and said 'don't steal my catch phrase'. Theres two things I'm looking for! Im looking for an animated movie that I'm pretty sure is korean and I watched it on netflix like 7ish years ago It's about this lady who moves in with her best friend in this big city into some little wooden hut thing that's on top of a building. She works for this rich family taking care of their home and wants to live in the super nice apartment but can't cause she's poor. She goes home one day and finds a cat who drops a necklace or something and the lady can see the house spirits. She forms a friendship with the house spirit of her home and comes to love where she lives. Then this company wants to tear down this building to build better apartments and she tries to stop them but fails. The other is a movie I'm looking for but I'm not even sure if it's a movie or a short film or what, but I've asked everywhere and no one knows what I'm talking about. I want to say this was on netflix too? But that might be me confusing things it follows some kid who gets a time machine, I'm not sure how but he has one. He keeps traveling forwards in time, I believe he can't go back? I remember one stop he makes he ends up in a frozen wasteland and then the next stop he's like a billion years in the future and earth is a desert wasteland and he stumbles upon this last civilization. The people are like evolved humans. I think he ends up returning home?

I vaguely remember a live action sci-fi movie from when I was a kid back from when we rented 10 movies for 10 days for $10 in the 90's. The only thing I remember is at the end the villain gets locked in a metal, personal prison and sent off into space screaming as his punishment.

I think I saw it linked from SA. does anybody remember a music video floating around a good few years back: I. - on vimeo because it was too "hot" for youtube - two swedish white girls - rap song??? had some singing. can't remember but I think they rapped too, it was in english - seemed to have a budget II. - was about taking a poo poo and then rolling the poo poo into a joint and then smoking it, fully literal with no metaphor or poetic language - a line of the lyrics end-rhymed with the word "feces" - did not appear to be a joke in any meaningful way, though thinking back this really puzzles me - the singers appeared at least topless if not naked in the video, which was almost unwatchably gross/literal (making out while liquid poo poo/nesquik poured on them etc.)

Does anyone have a link to or remember the goon text Sci Fi space opera CYOA from 15 odd years ago? Similar setting to the Expanse/Serenity, large solar system etc with relativistic travel and travel time for weaponry etc, starring Ving Mother loving Rhames? I remember the early stages had a lot of choices around POV character background (yuppie scion vs ex naval officer vs ragamuffin), and once a ship was sourced the choice to make was between various kinds of armaments (large dumbfire cannons where the issue was aiming where the target would be in x minutes vs missile tubes that would be higher cost per usage but self-targetting/propelling). I know most of the old CYOA threads will be dead and gone due to waffle images destroying the hosting of images, but being text based I suspect this may have survived? The readers would then write in with their arguments and after a period of time the battle would be decided. Some that I remember are Princess Leia and Captain Janeway in a cat fight, Spock and Data in a best of three chess/humor/starship battle, and a chainsaw fight involving Barney, Westley, and Carrot Top.
