Thats rough. It's as if they got together and all decided to lay down. Just know you're gonna score 220 next week.

Hey Teemu, promote Drew Brees off your IR. You have an open roster slot and plenty of cap space so it's just for compliance.

So bummed I lost. Had one of my best seasons in fantasy ever, tried to make moves to win now. I can still win something if I end up in third right?

I think outside of QB I've got a good core that's reasonably young and reasonably priced now that I've resigned Melvin Gordon for less money. Hopefully I'll be right back in it next year.

Leperflesh
May 17, 2007

We pay cash out to fourth place, so yes, definitely try to win the third/fourth place match next week.

First place gets $160
Second place gets $80
Third place gets $40
Fourth Place gets $20

e. also no matter how good you are and how good your decisions are, like 60% of fantasy results is random chance, so you do your best and then try not to feel too bad if you lose.

My friends and family league that I've been in since 2012 or 2013 I made it to the playoffs every year but one(not counting this year since we all decided to cancel the season) and have never won the championship there. So yeah, luck is king.

I don't even have the 5th best roster in this league.

I do, however, have the best non-injured roster imo.

It's all poo poo luck, me being bottom 4 for the last 5 years was all luck too I think...

Edit: If Dak didn't go down and your TE, I think you win this easily.

However, if Dak doesn't go down then Zeke is still relevant and you'd have a shitshow against Capybara.

Congratulations The Zack! LEGO Maniacs wins the title for 2020, despite Spermy Smurf's embarrassing meltdown. The 30 point lead won't be overturned by stat corrections. The Zack gets $160!
First Down Syndrome takes 2nd place! Silver is not bad! Spermy Smurf gets $80.
89's THE PAIN TRAIN won the bronze medal match by a 37 point margin, so we can be secure of his third place finish. 89 gets $40.
Epi Lepi's Long Island Whalers just couldn't win in the playoffs, despite dominating the league in win/loss during the regular season. Maybe $20 will make him feel better.

Now let's look at the consolation poo poo.

Spermy Smurf posted:

Gridiron Chefs 146.82
BALLS OF FURY 126.13
Chopping Wood 116.09

Just updating these scores, because of stat corrections. I'm using the weekly summary report, week 15 column. Scores that changed are in bold:

pre:
1017 BRICK SQUAD	207.10
Team McLean 172.39
STRAIGHT BASS HOMIE	166.06
Concord Concordes	158.54
The Majestic Capybaras	157.84
Gridiron Chefs 146.82
BALLS OF FURY 126.13
Chopping Wood 116.09
Hah! A little boost puts my Concordes ahead of the Capybaras by a razor thin margin last week.

And here are the preliminary (no stat corrections yet) scores for week 16:

code:
Concord Concordes	168.40
STRAIGHT BASS HOMIE	149.67
1017 BRICK SQUAD	149.37
BALLS OF FURY 146.28
Chopping Wood 144.64
Gridiron Chefs 116.24
Team McLean 110.23
The Majestic Capybaras	90.89
And here's the totals of the two:

code:
1017 BRICK SQUAD	207.10 + 149.37 =	356.47
Concord Concordes	158.54 + 168.40 =	326.94
STRAIGHT BASS HOMIE	166.06 + 149.67 =	315.73
Team McLean 172.39 + 110.23 =	282.62
BALLS OF FURY 126.13 + 146.28 =	272.41
Gridiron Chefs 146.82 + 116.24 =	263.06
Chopping Wood 116.09 + 144.64 =	260.73
The Majestic Capybaras	157.84 + 90.89 =	248.73
Barring 30 points of stat corrections for week 16, it looks like Stevie Lee's 1017 BRICK SQUAD coasts to the 1.13 pick, despite a strong showing this week from Concord Concordes pushing them (me) into second.

I feel like I have a stronger team now than I did most of the season so hopefully I'm back in it next year. Or everyone on my team will get cut or retire. Either or.

Leperflesh
May 17, 2007

Same. My team was devastated by injuries and covid this year, plus I regarded it as a rebuilding year from the start. I'm worried about what happens with CEH next year if the Chiefs keep Bell, I'm worried about the value of my 49ers if they keep Garroppolo, and I still don't have a tight end. But: I'm pretty happy with the bevy of promising journeymen with low salaries on my roster, I picked up Odell at a discount, Jalen Hurts looks like he's for real and whatever happens in Philly he's going to have a career, I have a good amount of cap space, and I kept most of my picks (traded a 2nd down for a 4th to get Mike Williams). Not too awful.

Spermy Smurf
Jul 2, 2004
I had an injury free year with a great year by Dalvin and Allen. Pretty happy with my showing.

My only 1.04 or better pick from the last 4 years still on my roster is Dalvin.

I have drafted so insanely bad in the past. Maybe drafting 1.11 will be good for me?

On another note: I think we need to move the consolation bracket draft pick next year.

The 'best of the rest' is not as in need of 1.13 as the dude who finishes last in the consolation bracket.

So I would maybe move that to 2.13 or something. Still useful, at least as trade bait, but not a first round pick.

I have no idea what to do with my money. Are my dues paid up? Cuz gently caress it, just sponsor me through 2024 if not.

Got the money, thanks. And thanks for running things again.

This is my first ever championship in fantasy football in any format. I was fortunate not to have too many covids or injuries. Also, Alvin Kamara.

Looking forward to running it back next year
