Red Letter Media's "IT BROKE NEW GROUND" rant summed up exactly why I didn't care for Rogue One as much as everyone else did. To borrow from Karma Tornado, it felt like I was watching someone making a movie about their Star Wars RPG group stealing the Death Star plans. It might make me a bit "get off my lawn" but I prefer the magic of the original trilogy, before CGI and every lore question needing an answer.

My Star Wars hot take is that Attack of the Clones is way worse of a movie than The Phantom Menace was (which was the first Star Wars movie I saw in theaters!), because Teen Anakin is such a creep and it just kind of ends unsatisfyingly.

I don't remember what it was called, but the last Star War I saw had the 2 minority characters relegated to a subplot that got ignored/invalidated by the rest of the movie. That sucked. Also it was boring and they're all boring so I stopped watching them.
