Here's the article if you want to be pizza-offended in-depth. Although honestly I feel like it's gotta be some kind of defamatory work if they're going to use pictures of clearly uncooked food. Obviously food doesn't look as good when it's raw unless you're one of those people who likes geometric dough sculptures. Come to think of it, I was hanging onto this video recently that is also cheating because of course it's gonna look gross butchering an animal, but man does it look gross. I loving told you guys the shopping cart was real! Everyone said "you mean a tiny fry basket?" NO IT WAS LITERALLY A TINY SHOPPING CART it was double weird because my shopping cart was served to me at Friendly's, a cheap casual chain restaurant.

I assume service industry wholesale magazines have them in bulk for cheap, and they manage to straddle a line between being similar enough to other more established methods for serving small portions of fried food while still having some kitsch value for unimaginative managers that order this kind of poo poo, to enable them to be successful. I'm pretty sure I've had chips or onion rings or mozzarella sticks turn up in mini shopping trolleys lined with greaseproof paper a number of times to the point it doesn't surprise me anymore.

I had that video suggested to me a week ago but one of my hobbies is watching old advertisements for kitchen gadgets. There's a million of them and they're all amazing. There's always a smallish turkey and a clear glass dish of buttered peas and every flat surface sparkles. They're soothing enough that I use them to go to sleep between episodes of Bewitched.
