It's best if we ignore that and anthropomorphize the time-span itself and somehow blame that period of time for being a bad time when it could have been a good time instead. Maybe the next time-span will be a better time, somehow, then it will be drawn as a nicer character.

The Deep State Swamp overflows with corruption. They control much of our legal system, thanks to George Soros spending a fortune to buy out prosecutors and judges at all levels.
